You do not need to provide any personal information to use our website, however in order for us to respond to your requirements in buying, selling or renting a property, we will need to register you, and hold your details on file.
What information we collect
We will require your name, address, telephone number and email address. If you are purchasing a property it is also useful for us to know if you are selling your property and whether you have finance in place.
How we receive the information
The information which we hold will be supplied by you to us, either directly by telephone, in person by visiting one of our branches or by email or through our website, or indirectly via property portals such as Right Move and Zoopla.
How we use your data and who we share it with
We use your personal information for the purposes of selling or renting your property, or to find you a new home. If you are looking to buy or rent, we will match you to suitable properties and send you details of properties which may meet your requirements.
Your details will be kept within the Pickwick organisation until such a time as you ask for them to be removed, or we decide that, in the absence of any response, they should be removed. We do not share your personal details without your explicit permission. Your details will not be sold or otherwise disposed of to any third party, except where we are legally obliged to do so.
How secure are your details?
When you register your details, we will take all reasonable care to keep these details secure and free from unauthorised access. The data we collect from you is stored on servers which are hosted in a secure location in England, UK.
Removing or changing your information
We will retain your personal information for as long as it is needed to provide the service you require. If at any time you wish your personal data to be amended or removed from our data base, either temporarily or permanently, please email info@pickwickestates.com or write to Jackie Asser, Pickwick Estates, 8 Woodwarde Road, London SE22 8UJ. Please note if you have bought, sold or rented through us we may need to retain your data for legal, tax or regulatory reasons.
